The WAYS for Life Every Mother's Advocate (EMA) program received referrals for 45 moms in the past 10 months.
WAYS provided several of the moms who were in crisis with wraparound services to help them stabilize even though they did not fully engage in the program. The mothers who did engage in the EMA program received one-on-one parenting lessons with their advocates plus additional services as needed such as assistance securing daycare, supervised visits with their children at WAYS, attendance by WAYS/EMA staff at dependency team conferences and court hearings, participation in the WAYS' GED FastTrack program, access to food from the WAYS' pantry, housing assistance, and mental health therapy. Two of the moms earned their GED. Several moms found housing, jobs, and received financial counseling. We continue to grow as more moms in need are signing up for the EMA program every week.

We are also accepting diapers and wipes at this time, all sizes are appreciated. Additionally, we are in need of 2 small baby changing tables for our bathrooms. If you are interested in donating any of these items, please feel free to drop off donations Monday-Friday 9am-5pm at the WAYS for Life office in downtown Eau Gallie.
