From GED to Nursing: Tracy’s Journey Forward

Today, we’re celebrating Tracy.

After earning her GED through our GED FastTrack program, Tracy made a bold decision. She didn’t just want a credential. She wanted a calling. She set her sights on becoming a nurse.

Now, through our Career Pathways program, Tracy is taking the next step toward that dream.

Career Pathways walks alongside young adults as they explore, prepare for, and pursue meaningful careers. For Tracy, that means enrolling in nursing school and building the foundation she needs to thrive in a high-demand healthcare field. Through guidance, planning, and connections with local nursing programs, she is turning a goal into a clear, actionable path.

Her journey is a powerful reminder that when stability meets opportunity, transformation happens.

Behind every milestone is a community. Tutors who stayed late. Volunteers who encouraged her when it felt overwhelming. Partners who opened doors. Because of you, Tracy is not just chasing a dream. She is building a future where she will care for others the way this community cared for her.

We are incredibly proud to walk beside Tracy as she works toward her nursing degree. The road ahead will take dedication and resilience, but she has already proven she has both.
